Detroit Lions injury report: Kevin Zeitler, Taylor Decker miss practice; Mahogany to start?
The Detroit Lions held their first full practice ahead of Saturday’s playoff game against the Washington Commanders without two starting offensive linemen.
Right guard Kevin Zeitler missed practice Wednesday with a hamstring injury, while left tackle Taylor Decker was out for personal reasons.
Zeitler pulled his hamstring in the Lions’ Week 18 win over the Minnesota Vikings. He spent the open portion of Wednesday’s practice running and working on his pass sets on the side with trainers.
If Zeitler can’t play Saturday, rookie sixth-round pick Christian Mahogany likely will make his second start of the season.
Decker is expected to play Saturday.
Defensive tackle Pat O’Connor also missed practice Wednesday with a calf injury and is not expected to play Saturday.
