Ezavier Crowell, a standout running back from Jackson High School in Alabama, has returned to the University of Alabama for an extended multi-day visit, further solidifying his interest in the Crimson Tide’s football program.

Crowell has been a frequent visitor to Tuscaloosa, with this latest trip marking another step in his ongoing relationship with Alabama’s coaching staff. He previously attended the Crimson Tide’s Junior Day on February 1, where he engaged with the team and explored the program’s offerings.

Originally a member of the 2027 recruiting class, Crowell reclassified to the 2026 class earlier this year, accelerating his recruitment timeline.  Despite the reclassification, he remains one of the nation’s top running back prospects, drawing interest from elite programs such as Auburn, Florida State, Georgia, Ohio State, and Texas.

Alabama has been proactive in its pursuit of Crowell, emphasizing the program’s tradition of excellence and the opportunity for him to become a “legend” in Tuscaloosa.  Crowell has expressed mutual interest, stating, “It is definitely a top school for me. I see myself playing in Crimson soon.”

On the field, Crowell’s performance has been exceptional. During the 2024 season, he played a pivotal role in leading the Jackson Aggies to a state championship, showcasing his dynamic playing style. At 5-foot-11 and 215 pounds, he combines physicality with impressive speed, evidenced by his personal best of 10.6 seconds in the 100-meter dash.

As Crowell continues his visit, the Alabama coaching staff aims to further demonstrate how their program aligns with his athletic and personal development goals. This multi-day stay provides an opportunity for deeper engagement with the team’s culture, facilities, and academic support systems.

While no commitment has been made, Crowell’s repeated visits and positive remarks indicate a strong rapport with the Crimson Tide. As he navigates his recruitment process, Alabama remains a prominent contender for securing this elite in-state talent.
