Snoop Dogg has announced he will be a torchbearer at the 2024 Olympics in Paris and will carry the flame through the streets of Saint-Denis before the opening ceremony
Hip-hop icon Snoop Dogg has taken to social media to announce his unique role in the upcoming 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
The 52-year-old star, real name Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr, will be one of the torchbearers, bringing the Olympic flame through the streets of Saint-Denis, as confirmed by the town’s mayor, Mathieu Hanotin. On social media, Hantoin said: “Saint Denis: last step before the Eiffel Tower. An international cast @SnoopDogg for the last stretch of the Olympic Flame.”
