However, her choice of attire, a Packers jacket, did not sit well with the football fans, as the two teams have a longstanding rivalry dating back to 1921. Packers devotees expressed their displeasure with Biles’ fashion choice, as the jacket featured images of Owens during his time with the Wisconsin team.
While many were quick to criticize her, some fans kindly encouraged her to switch to Bears gear to properly support her husband’s new team. One Instagram user even suggested that Kristin Juszczyk, the designer and wife of San Francisco 49ers player Kyle Juszczyk, could create a custom Bears jacket for Biles.

Just recently, Biles posted the attire she wore on her official Instagram account. From there, fans noticed that Owens was in it during his time with the Packers, which went with the ‘bear down’ caption she posted.
Biles and Owens’ relationship has been a source of joy for fans, as they have supported each other’s endeavors. Owens even flew out to the Paris Olympics to watch Biles win gold, though he had to return to Bears training camp and missed some of her later individual finals.
Despite the backlash, Biles remained unfazed and shared images of her game-day look, which also included a Prada bucket hat, jumpsuit, and her signature diamond-encrusted goat necklace. The gymnast has yet to respond to the criticism while fans have continued calling her out for the jacket she wore.
The Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears boast the longest rivalry in football, but Olympic gymnast Simone Biles might not know that.

“What’s up, Chicago,” Biles said in a video for the NFL’s social media accounts. “Go Bears!”
Eagle-eyed viewers quickly spotted the gymnast’s fashion faux pas, though some gave her a pass.
“She’s obviously supporting her husband Jonathan Owens and she’s one of the greatest Olympians so she gets a pass,” former NFL quarterback Chase Daniel wrote on X. “But it’s still one of the oldest rivalries in all of football & she’s rocking #GoPackGo logos.”
Other social media users were less forgiving.
“Simone Biles should be stripped of all her medals after wearing Packers gear while cheering for the Bears,” one X user wrote. “Yeah yeah I get it, her husband played for the Packers and it’s an Owens-themed jacket, but this is just wrong.”
