Florida football landed another commitment for its 2025 class, getting four-star edge rusher Jayden Woods to flip his commitment from Penn State to UF on Friday.
The 6-foot-3, 240-pound Woods, from Mill Valley HS in Shawnee, Kan., is the seventh-ranked edge rusher and 75th raked player overall in the 2025 class, per 247Sports. Woods also had offers from Tennessee, Purdue and Wisconsin.
With the commitment of Woods, the Florida Gators 2025 class is up to 15th nationally per 247 Sports. Florida’s class was as low as No. 51, but UF has picked up recruiting momentum after posting back-to-back upset wins over No. 22 LSU and No. 9 Ole Miss at The Swamp.
