Mike Norvell and the Florida State Seminolesjust lost another four-star verbal commitment from #Tribe25, and unsurprisingly, it’s an offensive lineman. Peyton Joseph has flipped to the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.
Peyton Joseph is a 6’3”, 310 pound offensive lineman who plays for Houston County High in Warner Robins, Georgia. He is currently ranked as a top-150 prospect in the nation by 247Sports Composite. Without an offensive line coach in place and signing day quickly approaching, you can’t blame Joseph for choosing to play elsewhere.
Joseph originally committed to the Florida Gators in mid-February but continued to take visits to Tallahassee, leading many to believe it was only a matter of time until FSU flipped him. In addition to spurning the Gators, Joseph chose the Seminoles over the Memphis Tigers, who were a legitimate threat to land him after earning the commitment of his teammate and quarterback, four-star Antwann Hill.
Joseph also has two dozen other offers from the likes of the Alabama Crimson Tide, Georgia Bulldogs, Kentucky Wildcats, LSU Tigers, Miami Hurricanes, Michigan Wolverines, Michigan State Spartans, Ole Miss Rebels, Oregon Ducks, Penn State Nittany Lions, South Carolina Gamecocks, Texas Longhorns, and Texas A&M Aggies.
A cousin to Seminole transfer addition TJ Ferguson, Joseph was a pledge from a crucial recruiting region for FSU. As far as interior offensive line prospects, Joseph was at the top of FSU’s list.
