FSU football has pulled off a second flip during the early signing period and this time, it is in the trenches. Three-star interior offensive lineman Sean Poret announced he would be flipping from USF to Florida State and signing with them on Wednesday morning.
Poret officially visited FSU for their game against the Florida Gators and has taken several trips to Tallahassee this year. Gabe Fertitta, who has been serving as the interim offensive line coach was able to get it done. Poret native also took visits to Vanderbilt and NC State in November.
He is the No. 1038 player and No. 70 interior offensive lineman in the 247Sports composite ranking. The 6-foot-5, 27-pounder is also the No. 120 player from Georiga.
Poret is the third offensive lineman to commit to FSU, joining five-star Solomon Thomas and four-star Mario Nash Jr, all three are listed as interior offensive linemen.
FSU’s 2025 recruiting class now has 16 total commits and ranks 31st in the 247Sports composite team ranking. Poret is the second player FSU has flipped on Wednesday, four-star cornerback Shamar Arnoux flipped from Auburn earlier in the day.
