The Michigan Wolverines followed their 2023-2024 national championship win over the Washington Huskies with a solid Class of 2024 recruiting haul that included several four-star prospects.
One of the top players in their class hails from Providence Day High School in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he spent the Christmas break hosting a toy drive for local area kids.
Jadyn Davis, Michigan’s prized quarterback recruit from 2024, was a freshman on coach Sherrone Moore’s roster this season.
On Thursday, one day after the Christmas holiday, Davis was asked his thoughts on the signing of the Class of 2025 player who has already been proclaimed ‘QB1,’ Bryce Underwood, along with his future in the home of the Wolverines, Ann Arbor.
“That’s the plan right now,” Davis saidabout staying and competing for playing time. “My dad always told me to be where your feet are…I know college football is now a true definition of a business.
“I’m going to do what is right for me and my family and keep that between us and God. He’s the one who already had that plan written, we’re just walking in that path. That’s where our head space is right now, but as I’m in Ann Arbor, Michigan, I am a fully committed Michigan Wolverine.”
