Looks like the former fan-favorite Nittany Lion is back on the coaching staff.
At THON 2025, athletic director Pat Kraft said former quarterback Trace McSorely is on the staff, it’s unclear if he’s officially on staff.
“Nobody knows it yet,” Kraft said.
McSorley and former guard Landon Tengwall were the hosts for the THON 2025 Pep Rally.

McSorley played for Penn State from 2014-18, accumulating 9,899 passing yards, 77 touchdowns and 25 interceptions. He’s the Nittany Lion’s single-season passing yards and passing touchdowns record holder.
