Flagg was inadvertently poked in the eye during Duke’s second-round victory over Baylor, leading to visible swelling and bleeding. Despite the injury, he delivered an impressive performance, recording 18 points, nine rebounds, and six assists in 29 minutes of play.
Addressing concerns about his condition, Flagg stated, “Yeah, I’m all good. My eye feels pretty good right now.” This reassurance comes as Duke prepares to face Arizona on Thursday in Newark, New Jersey.
