Former Arkansas Transfer Guard Phoenix Stotjin commits to Indiana WBB

Phoenix Stotijn will have three years remaining in her career as she heads to Bloomington next season

Indiana women’s basketball lost six players from their 2024-25 team this off-season due to the transfer portal including Yarden Garzon, Lilly Meister, Lexus Bargesser, Sharnecce Currie-Jelks, Julianna LaMendola and Henna Sandvik.

Indiana also lost graduate seniors Chloe Moore-McNeil, Sydney Parrish and Karoline Striplin.

As Indiana women’s basketball head coach Teri Moren tries to rebuild their roster for next season she has added Alabama transfer guard Chloe Spreen, four-star Gatorade Player of The Year (Indiana) Maya Makalusky and Miss Missouri four-star recruit Nevaeh Caffey.

You can now add former Arkansas guard Phoenix Stotijn to that list.

She reportedly had a list of five finalists that included Arizona State, Clemson, Illinois and Michigan but chose Indiana late Sunday night.

As a freshman, Stotijn averaged 7.2 points, 1.5 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game. The 5-foot-9 guard, shot 31.7% percent from the field and 26% percent from 3-point range while appearing in 21 games for the Razorbacks, with 12 starts.

Phoenix Stotijn scored in double figures four times and had five games with four or more assists.

The Arkansas Razorbacks were 10-22 last season and finished in a four-way tie for last in the SEC with a 3-13.

Stoijin will head to Indiana with three years of eligibility remaining.
