Love’s Labors Not Lost: Jeremiyah’s Journey to All-American Stardom

Jeremiyah Love wasn’t supposed to be the guy—at least not yet. But with Notre Dame retooling its offense and looking for a new identity, the explosive back wasted no time taking control of the conversation. Clocking a 4.38 in offseason testing, Love’s speed is just part of the story. Coaches praise his vision, patience, and—perhaps most crucially—his maturity. A soft-spoken presence off the field, he’s becoming a thunderbolt on it. In spring scrimmages, Love broke off multiple 30+ yard touchdowns, earning praise from offensive coordinator Mike Denbrock, who called him “a game-changer in every sense.” Analysts didn’t hesitate to slot him into PFF’s 2025 Preseason All-American team—joining names like Quinshon Judkins and Trevor Etienne. But for Jeremiyah, the spotlight hasn’t made him flinch. “I just want to win. Everything else is extra,” he said after a grueling spring practice. With a backfield full of talent and a loaded schedule, Love’s emergence could be the key to Notre Dame’s playoff aspirations. And if his current trajectory holds, the Irish may soon have another household name echoing through college football Saturdays. Buckle up. Jeremiyah Love isn’t waiting his turn—he’s taking the wheel.
