BREAKING: Penn State football adds commitment from blue chip wide receiver
Penn State football starts the week off right with a massive commitment from four-star wide receiver Davion Brown.
Penn State football continued its recruiting hot streak on Monday night with another significant pickup on the offensive side of the line of scrimmage. The Nittany Lions kicked off the week by adding a commitment from four-star Trinity Episcopal (VA) wide receiver Davion Brown.
Brown announced his decision via social media. Coming off a visit to Happy Valley for the Blue-White Game, the 6’1″, 200-pound receiver holds nearly three dozen offers.
The newest Nittany Lion is No. 6 player from Virginia and the No. 18 wide receiver in the 2026 recruiting cycle, according to 247Sports. He is the No. 143 prospect in the class.
Brown is set to return to State College for an official visit on June 6. Prior to his commitment, he also had June official visits scheduled to Georgia and Duke.
Brown is the third receiver commitment for Penn State football in 2026, joining Jahsiear Rogers and Lavar Keys. He is the ninth pledge for James Franklin since March 25. The Nittany Lions have the No. 4 class in the country.
