Former Michigan State wide receiver Jaylan Brown is transferring to UTEP
Jaylan Brown officially signed with the University of Texas at El Paso the school announced on Tuesday. Brown entered the transfer portal last month after spending one season at Michigan State.
Brown was a Michigan State commit in the 2024 class. He was a three-star prospect out of Nacogdoches, Texas, and ranked as the No. 66 wide receiver in 247Sports’ rankings for the 2024 class.
Brown redshirted this past season and never saw game action as a Spartan. He will have all four years of eligibility remaining with the UTEP Miners.
UTEP is coming off a rough season in 2024, where they finished the year with a 3-9 mark. I would anticipate Brown to have the opportunity to instantly make an impact next year for the Miners.
