Detroit Tigers CF Parker Meadows starts rehab assignment with Triple-A Toledo
The road to Detroit begins now.
Detroit Tigers center fielder Parker Meadows has been cleared to begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Toledo, opening the door for his return to the Tigers, manager A.J. Hinch announced on MLB Network Radio.
His first rehab game is May 20 with the Mud Hens.
Meadows has been sidelined for the entire 2025 season with a right musculocutaneous nerve issue. The 25-year-old hasn’t competed in an official game since Feb. 22, the first game of spring training. He suffered an upper arm nerve injury on a throw from the outfield to the infield during the Grapefruit League opener.

Although Meadows has joined Triple-A Toledo, he isn’t eligible to return to the Tigers from the 60-day injured list until May 26 — and a return likely won’t happen until sometime in June.
