Back in February of last year, the Kentucky Wildcats hosted and up and coming recruit who was rising up the ratings, and who just happened to be the younger sister of Adou Thiero. Now it’s a year later, and Mimi Thiero is a big time player.
Thiero took an early visit to Lexington last year, but now she has been officially offered by coach Kenny Brooks. Adou left for Arkansas, and now the NBA, but fans would love for Mimi to come and start a whole new Thiero legacy at Kentucky.
Since last year, Thiero has risen up the class of 2026 rankings. Standing 6’4″, she has the size to play in the frontcourt, but her athleticism makes her a versatile player on the floor. That ability has her currently ranked 43rd in the class by 247Sports.
Offers are sure to pour in for Thiero as the year wears on, but she would look great in Kentucky blue. Her potential is through the roof, and if she hits her peak, in a few years people might be looking at Adou and saying “Oh, that’s Mimi’s older brother.”
