A five-star edge rusher has the Florida Gators in his sights and even called them his “dream” school.
Jake Kreul is a Florida legacy, with his father playing for the Gators. On Friday, Kreul posted a TikTok during his recent visit with the program. He showed how excited he was to be visiting the Gators.
Kreul is listed at 6-foot-3, 235 pounds and attends IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida.
His list of offers includes the Colorado Buffaloes, Ohio State Buckeyes, Texas Longhorns, Oklahoma Sooners, Clemson Tigers, and others.
Florida comes into 2025 fresh off Billy Napier’s first winning season and bowl win.
POV-You got to take flicks at your dream school,” Kreul said in his post.
Kreul is from the 2026 class and is a five-star prospect, the No. 4 edge rusher and No. 4 prospect from the state of Florida via ESPN.
Florida’s 2026 class has commits from four-star quarterback Will Griffin, four-star safety Kaiden Hall, four-star offensive guard G’Nivre Carr, and three-star defensive tackle Jamir Perez.
Griffin was named to the Elite 11 Finalsroster back in May. The event showcases the top quarterbacks from around the country.
Friday’s visit was Kreul’s third with the Gators. He had previously taken unofficial visits in March and in July of 2022.
The state of Florida holds significance for the Kreul family, as his mother has ties to the Florida State Seminoles, having graduated from the ACC program.
