The Georgia Bulldogs have landed their next four-star recruit.
On3’s Hayes Fawcett reported Wednesday afternoon that elite offensive tackle Ekene Ogboko committed to the Bulldogs.
“AGTG, I’m home,” Ogboko told Fawcett. “The Ogbokos are in Athens. Go Dawgs!”
Ogboko will join his brother, Nnamdi Ogboko, who plays defensive line for the Bulldogs, in Athens, Georgia.
On3’s Jake Reuse reported the commitment from Ekene was two years in the making, as the Bulldogs first made an offer to the offensive tackle when his brother commitment to the program in 2023.
Ekene recently went to Athens on an official visit.
“Everything went great,” Ogboko told Reuse. “There was a lot of hospitality. I had some time to spend with my brother, so that was good to see him.
“Overall, everything was great. They treated us like a top priority…Their vibe was good. It opened their eyes, being able to see how Georgia was without my brother being there and how it would be for me individually.”
