The Milwaukee Bucks officially announced the signing of Cole Anthony on July 16.
The deal was expected, with ESPN reporting that Anthony would land with the Bucks after agreeing to a buyout with the Memphis Grizzlies.
The 25-year-old Anthony spent five NBA seasons with the Orlando Magic before getting traded to the Grizzlies this off-season.
The 6-foot-2 guard appeared in 67 games, including 22 starts, last season with the Magic, averaging 9.4 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.9 assists in 18.4 minutes per game.
Anthony gives the Bucks more options at point guard alongside likely starter Kevin Porter Jr. and Ryan Rollins.
Anthony is the son of Greg Anthony, who spent 11 seasons in the NBA and played part of his final season in 2001-02 with the Bucks.
