2026 safety Nassir McCoy (Buford, Ga.) has scheduled several spring visits, including one with the Tennessee Volunteers. Buford High School safety Nassir McCoy is an early national prospect after his sophomore season of high school. The Georgia native logged 38 tackles, three for loss, and two interceptions for the Wolves on a talented defense. He’s been to Knoxville, Tennessee, twice to see the Vols and will be back during the spring for a third time. McCoy has visited the Vols more than any other program, and they’ll continue building that relationship over the next two years of his high school career. Defensive backs coach Willie Martinez has had a lot of success with defensive backs from the state of Georgia – in the 2025 class Tennessee landed a duo of corners, Milton High School standouts Dylan Lewis and Tyler Redmond. The Peach State is quite important for this staff, and we’ll see how they fare in this one moving forward.
