Another former walk-on went on scholarship for the South Carolina football team. Senior Colin Bryant, who has played on special teams and at linebacker, earned a scholarship from the Gamecocks. South Carolina posted a video of Bryant getting the news he would go on scholarship on Wednesday. USC players mobbed Bryant after getting the news. Bryant is an in-state product after playing at Wando High School in Mount Pleasant. He walked on at Alabama after high school before joining the Gamecocks the following season in 2022.
