Tarasenko Trade Rumor Good News For Red Wings Originally posted on Detroit Hockey Now  | By Kevin Allen  | Last updated Feb 13, 2025 6:50 PM ET Vladimir Tarasenko put up 14 points in 19 games last season after the Florida Panthers acquired him before last season’s trade deadline. The Russian forward added five more goals in the post season when the Panthers won the Stanley Cup. That explains why Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman has reported the Panthers are interested in acquiring him from Detroit. This season, Tarasenko shows 22 points in 53 games. He’s on pace for 11 goals. HOUSTON — By the time Moses Moody’s outstretched fingertip secured yet another second-chance opportunity for the Golden State Warriors with 8:11 remaining in the first half — a stark contrast in effort from the sluggish Houston Rockets — Ime Udoka had seen enough. The composite body language of the players as they sauntered off the floor during the ensuing timeout was a microcosm of the team’s performances over the last two weeks. And it didn’t matter what Udoka tried to do to inspire his players or send a message — including benching his starters at the tail end of the…
In loss to Warriors, Ime Udoka sends message to Rockets by benching three starters After falling behind by 24 points, Rockets starters Jalen Green, Alperen Sengun, and Dillon Brooks were pulled from Thursday’s loss to Golden State and didn’t return — even when the game got close. HOUSTON — Though it didn’t result in a win, Rockets head coach Ime Udoka sent a clear message by benching most of his usual starters in Thursday’s 105-98 home loss (box score) to Golden State at Toyota Center. “Could be mentally and physically fried, certain people, certain players,” said Udoka, who didn’t…
One Area the Rockets Need to Improve on After All-Star Break If the Houston Rockets don’t improve their free throw shooting soon, it will continue to cost them games. The Houston Rockets lost to the Golden State Warriors for the third time in four games on Thursday, 105-98. The Rockets trailed the Warriors by as many as 24 points before a furious fourth-quarter comeback came up just short. There were several reasons Houston to Golden State Thursday. The Rockets only shot 33% from 3-point range, which has been an issue all season. The team turned the ball over 20 times,…
Matt LaFleur and the Green Bay Packers will look for any possible way to improve throughout the NFL offseason. After coming up short in the Wild Card round of the playoffs, the team wants to take another step forward in 2025. In order to do that, the Packers will need to improve their roster. They will also need to get the absolute most out of their coaching staff. With that in mind, Green Bay has officially made a coaching staff move on Friday afternoon. According to a report from NFL insider Tom Pelissero, Luke Getsy has officially been hired by Green…

Ralph Mann surprisingly would once qualify Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone in the category of “running jumpers”—non-strategic, relying solely on speed and athleticism without a hint of an idea of which leg they’ll use to clear the hurdle, or worse, either stutter-step or overstride as they allowed themselves too much or too little a room. And then, there were “technicians” who would have the number of steps they’d take at the start, middle, and all the way to the end figured out to the T. When they first met in 2018, this was Mann’s initial assessment of Sydney: “Sydney had problems. She couldn’t…
