By all accounts, Kentucky football was poor this season. The team finished 4-8 — capping off this lost season with a 41-14 Governor’s Cup loss in Lexington to Louisville. This was supposed to be a year of hope. Major quarterback recruit Brock Vandegriff was brought in from the Georgia Bulldogs, as fans hoped he would have the same impact that former quarterback Will Levis once did. The team was coming off back-to-back seasons at 7-6 and looking like a strong roster in need of a passer. Flash forward 6 months, and Vandegriff has been benched. His replacement, true freshman Cutter Boley,…

One of the appearances came in the 2022 Citrus Bowl against Purdue where he made two catches for 15 yards. He saw the field once this year in a 34-10 win…

Alabama is one of several teams still in consideration to make the College Football Playoff now that the regular season is over. ESPN college football analyst Paul Finebaum believes the Crimson Tide should be in the CFP when the bracket is revealed on Sunday. According to Finebaum, Alabama should make the College Football Playoff for several reasons, with one of those being its brand. If I’m giving this committee credit and belief, which I’ll decide next Sunday whether I do or not – so far I’m all over the map. I think they’ll look at Alabama, and will the brand…

Tom Brady is living an NFL double life. The seven-time Super Bowl champion quarterback kicked off an historic deal to be the top NFL analyst for Fox Sports this season, while his agreement to purchase a minority stake in the Las Vegas Raiders was approved in October. That arrangement led the NFL to put limitations in place on what Brady can do as a broadcaster. Brady cannot be overly critical of players (a line he may have crossed on Thanksgiving) or referees, participate in interviews with coaches or players during the week, or visit opposing teams’ facilities. In a new…

The Alabama Crimson Tide find themselves on the outside looking in of the College Football Playoff picture after last week’s 24–3 upset loss to Oklahoma. At No. 13 in this week’s CFP rankings, the Crimson Tide likely need a statement win over rival Auburn in today’s Iron Bowl, and likely need some help on top of it as well. Auburn has been disappointing this season at 5–6, with a 2–5 record in SEC play. The Tigers may be peaking at the right time, however, as they upset Texas A&M last week 43–41. During Saturday’s edition of College GameDay, ESPN’s Lee…

The NCAA Transfer Portal has added a ton of craziness to college football over the past few years. That includes moves that one might not have thought were possible in previous ages of the sport. Don’t believe me? Just check out Florida State’s most recent offer on the recruiting trail. On Sunday evening, FAU running back transfer CJ Campbell Jr. announced that he has been offered a scholarship by the Seminoles.
