Payne reportedly initially signed with the Wolverines Wednesday morning, but there were conflicting reports that his signing was voided. However, he cleared up the confusion with a commitment post-Wednesday evening. The Carolina Panthers have an enemy in the locker room. It can strike anyone, anywhere at anytime and goes unseen. Of course, it’s only a “bug,” as head coach Dave Canales called it on Wednesday, but it is still wreaking havoc on the team’s injury reportfor this week. The latest victim of the bug is star right guard Robert Hunt, who was not seen at today’s practice.
