Miami added a big-time transfer on Saturday afternoon as former Louisiana Tech defensive tackle David Blay joined the fold. He chose Miami over offers from some other marquee programs, including Penn State and Oklahoma. He was widely considered to be one of the top defensive lineman in the transfer portal this offseason. Blay began his collegiate career by spending 2 seasons at West Chester. He was impressive enough at that level to transfer to Louisiana Tech after the 2022 season and then made an immediate impact with the Bulldogs. However, his breakout campaign didn’t happen until 2024 when he recorded…

STILLWATER — It’s probably happened somewhere, at some point. But it’s hard to imagine any major college football team — but especially one with the stability and consistency of Mike Gundy’s Oklahoma State Cowboys — making a full change of its offensive and defensive assistant coaching staff with the head coach remaining in place. Special teams is the only part of the positional coaching staff that held steady. Gundy hired Sean Snyder, the former Kansas State punter and longtime assistant, last summer to coach punters and kickers, joining analyst Joseph Foteh, who had been the man behind the construction…
