MERCER, Pa. (WKBN) — The former treasurer of a girls softball league in Mercer County received his sentence earlier this month for stealing from the league. Brent Hanley, 55, was convicted of theft by failure to make required disposition of funds received. The other charges in the case were dismissed, according to court records. Court records state that Hanley was sentenced June 6 to two years of probation. As part of the terms of his probation, Hanley must pay costs and fines and avoid drugs and alcohol.
