The 2024 Paris Olympic Games will officially kick off on Friday night, and a pair of current Notre Dame men’s swimmers will compete: rising senior Chris Guiliano (Douglassville, Pa.) and rising graduate student Tyler Christianson (Easton, Md.). Guiliano, who has become one of the American favorites since the Olympic Trials, will swim at least five events in his Olympic debut. Individually, he qualified for the 50, 100 and 200 free, becoming the first American swimmer since Matt Biondi did so in 1988 to earn that slate.
