Wisconsin has only 1 player on the latest Top 100 ESPN transfer rankings Is this good news or bad news? Seems like it’s irrelevant to Greg Gard. The new Top 100 transfer rankings from ESPN just dropped. Jeff Borzello, one of the leading voices in college basketball, went through and ranked the best players in the transfer portal, and only one Wisconsin player is featured. That player was Nick Boyd, a transfer from San Diego State. It feels like once again, the major media is underrating Wisconsin players. Nick Boyd is ranked No. 71 on the latest ESPN Top 100…
The Wisconsin athletic department originally proposed eliminating the cap on student season ticket prices. However, the Athletic Board’s Finance, Facilities, and Operations committee voted to retain the cap, limiting the price of student season tickets to 100% of the lowest adult ticket price, according to Chat Sports and BadgerExtra. The athletic department’s initial proposal was to remove the language that capped student season ticket prices at half the cost of the lowest-priced adult season tickets. This change was intended to potentially allow the Badgers to increase student ticket prices, but the Athletic Board’s committee pushed back on that idea. The…
What does it mean to be inducted into the Wisconsin Athletic Hall of Fame? That’s a question I’ve been thinking about a lot lately and the best way I can answer that is by going back to the beginning. And for me, that beginning was not glamorous. It wasn’t headlines or hype. It was a quiet drive north, a small hotel room with my dad snoring all night and a campus I’d only seen on TV. It was my first-ever college recruiting visit and at that point I had one scholarship. Very few schools were recruiting me, so we figured…

John Wall makes strong promise about Kentucky basketball John Wall hasn’t been in college for a while now, but he’ll always be a Wildcat. A little over a decade ago, John Wall was the hottest player in college basketball.
