Stephen Curry is coming off an iconic debut in the 2024 Paris Olympics, averaging a team-high 14.8 points per game in the tournament and earning his first gold medal. Looking ahead to the 2024-25 season, Curry will be analyzing his situation with the Golden State Warriors with a chance to win his fifth NBA championship to solidify his legacy. Curry made some interesting remarks a handful of weeks ago discussing how he does not want to be a “bottom dweller” with Golden State, especially since his “Splash Brother” Klay Thompson left the Warriors to sign a $50 million deal with the Dallas Mavericks. Chicago Sky star Angel Reese has been straddling two sides of history in her rookie season. On one side, Reese has been breaking nearly every WNBA double-double record imaginable. She set the league’s new record for most consecutive double-doubles in a single season in July and has since followed that up with a slew of rebounding feats. As the most recent example, in Sunday’s 77-75 loss to the Las Vegas Aces, Reese became the first player in WNBA history to record three consecutive 20-rebound games while also tying Tina Charles for most double-doubles by a rookie (22). But on the…

Breaking News: The Indiana Fever has made a seismic move in the WNBA offseason, signing two-time WNBA MVP A’ja Wilson to a multi-year contract. This acquisition has sent shockwaves through the league, positioning the Fever as a formidable contender for the 2024 WNBA championship. Wilson’s arrival in Indiana marks a reunion with former South Carolina teammate and current Fever star Kelsey Mitchell. The dynamic duo, known for their exceptional talent and chemistry, is expected to form a formidable one-two punch on the court. This signing also sets up a highly anticipated matchup between Wilson and reigning WNBA MVP Caitlin Clark.…

Caitlin Clark continued shattering WNBA records Saturday night but Jason Whitlock has claimed that the rookie hindered the Indiana Fever more than helped. At only 22 years of age, Clark became the fastest player to reach 500 points and 200 assists in the history of women’s professional basketball just three months into her WNBA career thanks to her 23 points and eight assists against the Minnesota Lynx. However, she also added another seven turnovers to her record, taking her average to 5.6 for the season – something that Whitlock took great issue with. The sports columnist took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to hit out at…

Chicago Sky rookie sensation Angel Reese reached another milestone despite their tough 77-75 loss to the Las Vegas Aces on Sunday. Reese finished with a double-double of 11 points and a career-high 22 rebounds to record her third straight 20-board performance, becoming the first-ever player in WNBA history to achieve the feat. Her relentlessness on the glass has been a significant factor for the Sky this season, although they have struggled recently, absorbing three straight losses. While many have lauded her rebounding prowess, there have also been a lot of criticisms about her shooting woes. In the loss to the…

The sensational new WNBA star, Angel Reese, 21, made headlines recently following her recent impact on her team’s championship. A lot of men flooded the baller’s DM in an attempt to strike up a romantic relationship with her. A few months ago, Reese shut down her admirers with claims that she was romantically involved with NBA star Cam’Ron Fletcher. However, rumors say Reese is a lesbian, and she is currently dating her female teammate, Flau’jae Johnson. While homosexual relationships are common and widely accepted in the US, it appears Reese isn’t allowed to practice same-sex marriage. And now, fans are…

Sha’Carri Richardson—a woman fast enough to run on water—made plenty of headlines in Paris, but the Olympic gold medalist is going viral yet again for another recent race. Recently, content creator Jen Jean-Pierre was at the track shooting a commercial with Richardson when her husband and 4-year-old daughter, Tegan, came to visit her. When Tegan saw Richardson, whom she described only as “the nice lady with the mermaid hair,” she knew she wanted to challenge her to a race, so she walked up to her and did just that. Jean-Pierre says she has instilled in her daughter a willingness to speak up at…

Simone Biles wasted no time getting back into the gym after her successful run at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Just 12 days after the closing ceremony, the gymnast was back to putting in the work. “First day back,” Simone, 27, captioned a photo of the gym on Saturday, August 23. She also included an “eyes” emoji but did not give any specific insight into what she was up to at the facility. July was a grueling month for the professional athlete as she represented the United States at the Olympics. After the qualifying round, Simone competed in the team all-around,…

Chicago Bears safety Jonathan Owens wasn’t going to miss the chance to support his wife Simone Biles at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Owens got permission from the Bears to leave training camp and fly to Paris to watch Biles compete in-person, where she won gold in the team final, all-around and vault, and claimed silver in the floor exercise. And now that Biles’ Olympic journey is over (at least until 2028, potentially), she gets to switch into what he calls “football wifey” mode. During a recent interview with Vanessa Richardson of Space City Home Network, Biles opened up about how…
