When it comes to picking the Jacksonville Jaguars’ best offseason move in 2024, there are plenty of options to choose from. The Jaguars handed out the two biggest contracts in franchise history, including a record-breaking contract for quarterback Trevor Lawrence. They added some top names in free agency like Arik Armstead, Gabe Davis and Mitch Morse

The Baltimore Orioles are experiencing a bit of a rough patch after getting swept by the Chicago Cubs in their most recent series. They scored just two runs and were outscored 21-2, a discouraging sign considering the Orioles recently took over first place in the American League East It’s tough to judge the pitching staff too much as currently constructed. Baltimore lost three starting pitchers to season-ending injuries, but that’s expected to be fixed in the coming weeks. They have reported interest in Garrett Crochet and other high-level arms. If the Orioles wanted to land any of the top players…

During a quick moment at the American Century Championship, Adam Thielen told Starcade Media that the Chiefs “didn’t want me” despite interest from his end. He wound up catching 103 passes for 1,014 yards for the Carolina Panthers as Kansas City led the NFL in drops (44), so this seems like a regretful decision by the two-time defending Super Bowl champs. The Chiefs invested heavily into the position over the last several months, though having Thielen in the fold would provide a nice boost. He’s considered to be one of the best route-runners in the league and his 5.1% drop…

The new EA Sports College Football game that’s set to be released later this month hasn’t been very kind to the Tennessee Vols so far. First, there was EA Sports failing to include Neyland Stadium among the top 10 toughest places to play in college football (but they somehow ranked Bryant-Denny Stadium at No. 2). Worse than that, though, was EA Sports’ ranking of the top 25 offenses in the game — Tennessee, inexplicably, wasn’t in the top 25. Just absolutely laughable (Tennessee had the No. 1 offense in the nation two seasons ago and they have an average offensive…

Los Angeles Lakers rookie Bronny James missed his team’s second game of the California Classic against the Golden State Warriors set for tip off early Sunday evening. James experienced trace swelling in his left knee and was held out of the second day of a back-to-back schedule for precautionary reasons. James is expected to be healthy enough to play on Wednesday when the Lakers take on the Miami Heat in Summer League action.

While the draft pick compensation remains the sticking point in a potential Jerami Grant trade for the Los Angeles Lakers, one of their starters is drawing interest from the Portland Trail Blazers. According to Sean Highkin of The Rose Garden Report, Lakers’ Japanese forward Rui Hachimura “has some appeal” to the Trail Blazers as part of the outgoing package for Grant. However, Portland remains steadfast in its high asking price for Grant: the Lakers’ two available first-round draft picks (2029 and 2031). But if there is a deal to be made, presumably the Trail Blazers lowering their asking price in…

Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark has been making waves in the WNBA, living up to the high expectations that accompanied her as the first overall pick in the 2024 Draft. With impressive stats averaging 16.7 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 7.6 assists per game, she’s the clear frontrunner for the Rookie of the Year title. Despite the Fever’s rocky start at 2-9, they’ve managed to claw their way back into playoff contention at 9-14. However, it’s apparent that Clark needs more offensive support for the team to become a serious championship contender. Serena Williams brings up Caitlin Clark’s name in a…

Rafael Devers is the face of the Red Sox. It’s rather obvious, now that two former high-profile teammates — Mookie Betts and Xander Bogaerts — are playing elsewhere. Devers is Boston’s best and highest-paid player. But Red Sox manager Alex Cora drove home the point when announcing Boston’s 2024 All-Star selections and since doubled down on his comments regarding the 27-year-old third baseman. It’s on Devers to lead the next era of Red Sox baseball. So, how does Devers feel about this responsibility? Story continues below advertisement Cora acknowledged the slugger doesn’t necessarily enjoy being labeled the “face of the…
