DeRozan’s tenure with the Chicago Bulls has been marked by standout performances and a relentless drive to push the team into contention. Also, his leadership and scoring ability have been instrumental in the Bulls’ recent successes, and his statement about having “unfinished business” resonates deeply with the fans and the organization. It suggests a desire to continue building on the progress and lead the Bulls to a deeper playoff run. In a recent interview, DeMar DeRozan emphasized his commitment to the Bulls’ mission. “We have a lot left to achieve here,” he said. “I believe in what we’re building, and I want to see…
It feels as though the MLB season has still only just begun and in many ways, that’s the truth. Every team still has over 110 games left to play, enough time for a player who hasn’t appeared in a game yet to qualify for statistical leaderboards by the end of the season. But for some teams, enough is enough already. Just a few games into the season, we called our shot and picked five teams that had no hope of making it to the postseason, purely based on poor performance and bad vibes. Seven weeks later, we find that four of those…
Speaking on his podcast, NBA legend Kevin Garnett sent a message directly to Timberwolves big man Rudy Gobert. Ahead of tonight’s pivotal Game 6, Garnett called on Gobert to step up and challenge Nikola Jokic defensively. “You gotta switch it up,” said Garnett. “You can’t just give [Nikola Jokic] the same dose. You may have to give this motherf*cker a hard one. You have to do something to even this out and be a force. Be a man in there, be a presence in there motherf*cker… You 7’5. Play like it.” While Gobert is not quite 7’5”, he should still be more than capable…

Ishbia and Gilbert also have an intense one-on-one rivalry. The two men both attended Michigan State and have had some bitter…
Tennessee took a clear step back with Joe Milton running the show in 2023, but can they return to more of that 2022 look this season? That all rests on the shoulders of quarterback Nico Iamaleava, who assumes the starting gig after sitting for the majority of his freshman season. The former five-star, No. 1 overall player took his redshirt season behind Milton, but got a chance to show what he had in the Citrus Bowl win over Iowa. The early returns were special, beating up on an Iowa defense that was regarded as one of…

JJ Redick has been the talk of the town in the City of Angels after rumors surfaced he’s a prime candidate to for the Los Angeles Lakers’ vacant coaching gig. For Miami Heat legend Udonis Haslem, though, there’s one big problem if the former NBA star is hired. For the last two seasons, Darvin Ham guided LeBron James and the Lakers. During the previous playoffs, the former Milwaukee Bucksstar managed to coach Los Angeles to the Western Conference Finals after going through the Play-In Tournament. Unfortunately, they faced a Nikola Jokic-led Denver Nuggets and fell to them in a clean…
NFL games often provide an excellent excuse to avoid holiday gatherings, as they take place annually on Thanksgiving, and as of more recently, Christmas too. Don’t want to spend Thanksgiving at the in-laws? “Sorry, my favorite football team is playing, I can’t make it.” Christmas with cousins? Not going to happen if the Eagles are on. The old ‘watching the Eagles’ excuse won’t fly this year But, unfortunately for fans in Philadelphia, those excuses aren’t going to work this year. The full 2024 NFL schedule was recently released, and the Eagles aren’t slated to play on either Thanksgiving or Christmas.…
