The digital purge was noticed late Friday night and quickly spread across social media, triggering a wave of speculation that the dual-threat QB is preparing to enter the transfer portal.
Johnson, who showed flashes of brilliance late last season, was expected to be the face of the Wildcats moving forward. However, behind-the-scenes reports suggest growing friction between Johnson and the coaching staff over the offensive scheme. One insider said Johnson has been “frustrated with playbook limitations” and feels his skill set is being underutilized.
