Dallas Cowboys Updates: Oruwariye agrees to…..

3:00 p.m. – Former Cowboys defensive back and unrestricted free agent Amani Oruwariye has reportedly agreed to terms on a deal with the Tennessee Titans for the 2025 season.

Oruwariye, who was drafted in the fifth round of the 2019 NFL Draft by the Detroit Lions, spent just the 2024 season in Dallas with the Cowboys and tallied 23 tackles in seven games.

It was a roller coaster of a year for Oruwariye, who had a game-clinching interception against the New York Giants in Week 4 but also had a costly muffed kickoff that ultimately led to Dallas losing their Week 14 game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

In Tennessee, Oruwariye reunites with former Cowboys special teams coordinator Jon Fassel, who has taken over the same role for the Titans.

1:31 p.m. – The Cowboys are nearly done in signing their draft picks, after getting a contract finalized with fifth-round pick Jaydon Blue on Monday.

That leaves just second-round pick Donovan Ezeuruaku as the only remaining draft pick not to sign.

The Cowboys actually signed seven of nine draft picks during the rookie minicamp on May 2-3.

Blue, one of two running backs drafted by the Cowboys, reportedly signed a four-year deal worth $4.62 million.

11:45 am — After striking a deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers to acquire wideout George Pickens, the Dallas Cowboys shaking up the entire NFL in the process, a corresponding roster move was required to free up a seat.

The decision was made to waive Seth Williams on Wednesday, to accommodate that need.

Williams joined the Cowboys as a member of the team’s practice squad in October 2024. He was not elevated to the active gameday roster last season, but went on to sign a futures deal in January.

The former Broncos’ sixth-round pick can now be claimed by any of the other 31 clubs.
