WACO, TEXAS — The Baylor Bears just made one of the biggest moves of their offseason, landing dominant defensive tackle Adonis Friloux out of the transfer portal. The former Tulane standout committed to the Bears after an official visit, bringing a game-changing presence to Baylor’s defensive front.
Friloux, a 6’2″, 325-pound force in the trenches, brings veteran leadership and proven production. Over his Tulane career, he racked up 62 tackles, 9 tackles for loss, and 5 sacks in 37 games—disrupting offenses and controlling the line of scrimmage.
After earning a sixth year of eligibility following an ACL injury in 2022, Friloux was expected to return to Tulane. But with the portal calling, Baylor came knocking—and Friloux answered.
“This is where I’m supposed to be,” Friloux said. “I felt the energy at Baylor. It’s a program on the rise, and I’m ready to be part of something special.”
