The Georgia Bulldogs had the second-most draft picks in the 2025 NFL Draft. Yet, there were still highly-regarded former Bulldogs waiting to sign in undrafted free agency.

One of those players was defensive lineman Nazir Stackhouse. CBS Sports’ Matt Zenitz reported Saturday that Stackhouse signed with the Green Bay Packers.

Standing at 6-foot-3 and 320 pounds, Stackhouse was a three-year starter with the Bulldogs. The defensive lineman helped Georgia win back-to-back national championships in 2021 and 2022.

His best statistical season happened in 2023. Stackhouse posted 24 tackles, including three tackles for loss and two sacks.

Over five seasons with the program, Stackhouse appeared in 59 games and made 42 starts.

Georgia football head coach Kirby Smartwas highly complimentary of Stackhouse during the 2025 draft process.

Smart raved about the defensive lineman’s versatility, durability, work ethic, toughness and leadership.

With the Packers, Stackhouse will have an opportunity to play with college teammate Warren Brinson. Green Bay drafted Brinson, who was also a two-time champion defensive lineman at Georgia, at No. 198 overall in the sixth round.

Brinson was one of 13 Georgia prospects chosen during the 2025 NFL Draft. The Bulldogs led all SEC programs with that many selections.

With 14, only the Ohio State Buckeyes had more.

Brinson was one of three Georgia defensive linemen selected in the draft. Mykel Williams was the first Bulldogs defensive lineman off the board to the San Francisco 49ers at No. 11 overall.

The Minnesota Vikings drafted Bulldogs defensive lineman Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins at No. 139 overall in the fifth round.
