Nick Saban has been all kinds of busy in retirement with College GameDay, travels, golf, business and more. That includes sitting down multiple times for the upcoming documentary on his time with Alabama football.
Miss Terry, the wife of legendary coach, joined Kip Tyner on “Great Day Tuscaloosa” recently and revealed a seven-part documentary is in the works on she and her husband’s time with the Crimson Tide. The company Words + Pictures is putting it together.
They have done 70 interviews of former players, coaches,” Miss Terry said. “I don’t know who they’ve missed. They’ve been to our house twice, they’ve been to the lake house twice with all their cameras.”
Among those 70-plus interviews is the man at the center of it all after he won six national championships with the Crimson Tide over 17 seasons.
“Nick has really opened up and told a lot of good stories,” Miss Terry said of the documentary. “Our former players have all interviewed really well.”
Miss Terry did not reveal any logistical details about the documentary as to when it will be released.
