REPORT: BIG 12 RECRUITING Kansas State Loses Crucial Offensive Lineman to Transfer Portal……

With the spring transfer portal window officially opened, chaos has started to occur in the Big 12 Conference.

One move that shocked some folks at Kansas State was the departure of big-name transfer tackle Brandon Sneh, who committed to the Wildcats earlier in the offseason.

Sneh, a 6-foot-7, 320-pound lineman from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, spent the previous season at Wagner, where he developed into a star at the FCS level.

In his sophomore season at Wagner, Sneh didn’t allow a single sack from his tackle spot. Coming out of Neumann Goretti High School in the Class of 2022, Sneh was listed as an unranked prospect by the 247Sports index. After one year with Fayetteville State and one season with Wagner, the Philadelphia native developed into a three-star prospect, the nation’s 738th-ranked player, and the 65th-ranked player at his position.

The addition was initially set to fill the void at offensive tackle as the program must replace both starters. Veteran tackle Carver Willis departed the program for Washington earlier in the transfer portal cycle, while FCS transfer Easton Kilty from the previous seasonheaded for the NFL Draft.

Now, the group will likely look to redshirt freshman Gus Hawkins, who was a standout prospect in the Class of 2024, listed as the state of Kansas’ top-ranked recruit
