Three Louth Athletics administrators appointed to key roles by Athletics Ireland

Three County Louth Officers were elected or appointed to prominent positions at the biennial Congress of Athletics Ireland in Tullamore at the weekend.

Well known and respected official Georgina Drumm was honoured for her long years of service in multiple roles at the highest level of Irish sport, by being appointed a Life Vice President.
In addition, she was also elected as Chair of Athletics Ireland’s Competition Committee.

Fintan Reilly of Dunleer AC, who very successfully chaired the High Performance Committee in recent years, moves to chair the Finance and Risk Committee.
In addition, he’ll serve as a Vice President of Athletics Ireland for the first time.

And Deirdre McTeggart (Boyne AC) was elected to serve on the Juvenile Committee for the next two years. Deirdre has been a long-time contributor as an administrator and official at both local and national level, but this will be her first time to be a member of an Athletics Ireland committee.
