LSU women’s basketball coach Kim Mulkey was on hand Thursday night as her former star forward, Angel Reese, made somewhat of a homecoming to the Washington, D.C., area with her new WNBA team, the Chicago Sky.
Mulkey and Reese, whose team was playing the Washington Mystics, shared an embrace after the game and eventually took a picture together at Capitol One Arena.
During the post-game press conference, Reese, a native of Randallstown, Maryland, shared what Mulkey spoke with her about after the game.
