Simone Biles has recently lashed out at online criticism over her marriage to NFL player Jonathan Owens.
On May 19, the gymnast took to Instagram Story and called out at online scrutiny after her husband showed support to his wife at the 2024 Core Hydration Gymnastics Classic in Connecticut.
I’m going to quickly address this; the joke was never a joke! Y’all are blatantly being disrespectful to my relationship & my husband,” wrote Simone who tied the knot with Jonathan on April 22, 2023.
The gymnast said, “So I’m gonna go ahead and say this one time. Respectfully, (expletive).”
Simone also warned her followers, saying, “If you keep commenting or tweeting at me I’m just going to block you. Simple as that.”
“And no I don’t need to touch grass or whatever y’all suggest,” continued the 27-year-old.
In the end, Simone added, “everyone else that supports us, we love y’all so much.”
