Aston Villa midfielder Youri Tielemans’ injury appears to be more serious than just a failed late fitness test, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.The injury expert claims that this could mean he did not respond well to training or recovery and will be out until the new year.
Speaking about this situation, Dr Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, told Villa News:

Generally, that means he either didn’t respond well to training/recovery with more discomfort or soreness than the medical team found acceptable.
“Emery then ruled him out for two weeks after the mid-week so it was worse than first expected.”
