With the 2024 NFL Combine now a distant memory and college football pro days around the corner, we have reached the free agency and trade period of draft season. The draft order has changed, and franchise needs are becoming more clear as teams move up, move back and add players to their rosters.
This Mock Draft 3.0 required multiple edits as trades and free-agent signings were announced the past couple weeks and through the weekend. The Minnesota Vikings traded up to get the No. 23 pick to complement their No. 11 selection. Could the Vikings make another move up to get a top quarterback?
Los Angeles Chargers veteran wide receiver Keenan Allen was traded to the Chicago Bears, giving the NFC North franchise a veteran receiver to surround its rookie quarterback.
We also saw some quarterback moves. The Steelers signed Russell Wilson and acquired Justin Fields from Chicago, and the Atlanta Falcons now have quarterback Kirk Cousins under center.
Additionally, former Cowboys lineman Tyron Smith signed a one-year deal with the New York Jets.
