Pacers free agency, trade rumors: What’s the latest with Myles Turner, Bennedict Mathurin?
INDIANAPOLIS – Starting at 6 p.m., Monday, NBA teams can begin negotiating with other team’s upcoming free agents and can officially sign them July 6. The Indiana Pacers did not expect to have a long list of roster decisions planned for the offseason, but any plans they did have likely had to be seriously reassessed following Tyrese Haliburton’s devastating Achilles injury in Game 7 of the NBA Finals. Team president Kevin Pritchard and general manager Chad Buchanan declined season exit interviews following the Finals defeat and didn’t speak to media following last week’s NBA draft, so there’s no fresh intel…

The Cleveland Cavaliers have gotten off to an incredible start to the 2024-25 season, although they seem to have been hitting the brakes as of late. The Cavs have lost two of their past three games, including a demolition at the hands of the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday night — an uncharacteristically poor performance in a season full of signs that they might be on their way to contending for a championship. At this point, the Cavs may simply be going through some midseason blues, which is part of an 82-game regular-season grind. Regardless, they will not want to…
The Cleveland Cavaliers are a dominant 45-10 and own a five and a half game lead over the defending Boston Celtics for first place in the Eastern Conference. Donovan Mitchell remains the top guy in town, but Darius Garland and Evan Mobley are also carrying a large share of the offensive responsibilities. Jarrett Allen continues to be one of the most underrated players in the NBA, and trade acquisition De’Andre Hunter is the Cavs’ potential missing link. Coach of the Year favorite Kenny Atkinson has expertly accentuated the strengths of an already talented squad and perfectly melded the components together.…
