Gleaton Jones, a former walk-on running back for the Georgia Bulldogs, is in critical condition following a car accident on Dec. 10 while on a hunting trip on St. George Island in Florida. The 19-year-old sustained a severe brain injury and underwent emergency surgery to relieve swelling. He remains hospitalized in the intensive care unit. Jones joined the Georgia football program in 2021 after an impressive high school career at Deerfield-Windsor School in Albany, where he earned All-State, All-Region and All-Albany honors.
