IIIIIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTTTT’SSSSSSS MONDAY!!!!! And you wonderful orange-clad faithful know what that means. Let’s sit down at the table, carve up the orange-and-white bird, and dig into some wholesome Tennessee Vols-related goodness cooked up straight from my brain. 1) Another week at the top for the Tennessee Base Vols. UT kept its #1 ranking across all major polls after taking two of three over Vanderbilt in Nashville over the weekend. The streak of nine straight wins over the ‘Dores ended in Sunday’s 3-0 loss, but hey, you can’t win em all. 2) You can, however, win (almost) all of your series, and…

New York Jets head coach Robert Saleh sees their fifth-round draft pick Jordan Travis as a moldable quarterback that has a world of talent for him to work with right out of the gate. Saleh spoke at a Jets press conference on May 3 (h/t Matthew Postins of Fan Nation’s Jets Country) and had this to say about Travis, who he likened unto “kind of a ball of clay:” “He’s a tremendously talented young man and extremely gifted, especially athletically. He’s got a lot of work to do,” Saleh raved. “He hasn’t even scratched the surface. He’s winning games doing…

The Boston Red Sox great, nicknamed “Big Papi,” has long leveraged his celebrity status to raise awareness and money for a variety of causes that connect him to New York, according to the resolution passed by state senators. Those services have also benefited New York families. Ortiz´s visit to the statehouse in Albany coincided with the 20th anniversary of his Red Sox team winning the 2004 World Series. The Red Sox hadn´t won a…

The Cowboys are the defending NFC East champs, so it will be a great challenge and we are looking forward to it.” The full schedule will be announced at 8 Wednesday night on NFL Network, with some games being announced…

Tennessee football is preparing for the 2024 season, led by redshirt freshman quarterback Nico Iamaleava. This year will be a unique test for Josh Heupel, given that this will be the first season Tennessee will not have an experienced quarterback running the offense. That’s not changing expectations for Tennessee ahead of this fall with all the hype surrounding Nico and a possible Heisman campaign if everything goes right for the Vols’ young quarterback. But what is the ceiling and floor for Tennessee this season? Could they be national championship contenders or even make the College Football Playoff? Tennessee football is preparing for…
