MARCH 20 CURHAN SIGNS WITH BEARS Former Seattle Seahawks offensive tackle Jake Curhan has a new home after agreeing to a one-year contract with the Chicago Bears. Curhan, 26, spent the first three years of his career with the Seahawks, appearing in 29 games and starting nine of them. The 6-6, 316-pound lineman joined the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent out of Cal in 2021. Detroit Lions offensive tackle Matt Nelson, an unrestricted free agent, recently visited with the New York Giants, according to a report by NorthJersey.com. Nelson, 28 years old, stands 6-7 and weighs 315 pounds. He was signed as an undrafted free agent out of Iowa following the 2019 draft by the Lions. After spending his rookie season on the Lions practice squad, he made the 53-man roster the following year.
