The Baltimore Ravens have been trying to find a practical bunch of consistent wide receivers throughout their franchise history. While they’ve hit on some tremendous veteran signings, most have been underwhelming, as have their draft picks. At the NFL Owners Meetings, head coach John Harbaugh revealed that he’s ready to give the young wide receivers on the roster a chance, including Zay Flowers, Rashod Bateman, and Tylan Wallace. This plan is music to some ears but worrisome to others. Baltimore tried to go young at the position in 2022 but failed miserably after Bateman and Devin Duvernay, their No. 1 and No. 2 options, got hurt.…

The San Francisco 49ers are not resting on their laurels after making the Super Bowl last season. Despite housing one of the most well-rounded rosters in the NFL, San Francisco is showing interest in a longtime NFL wide receiver weeks before the start of the 2024 NFL draft. According to The Athletic, the 49ers are eying former Cincinnati Bengals wideout Tyler Boyd in free agency. The NFC West club is not the only one attracted to Boyd’s services. According to reports, the Miami Dolphins, Kansas City Chiefs, and Detroit Lions, among others, are also interested in Boyd. The Chiefs could become the front runners for Boyd after…
LSU wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. is flying up draft boards. In his latest big board, ESPN’s Mel Kiper Jr. rates him as the 11th-best The only good that came out of last season’s swoon to 7-10 is that they sit at No. 6 overall. There are too many needs to fill all the holes on the roster during the course of the three-day event. When in doubt, think offense for this particular draft, as the Giants are lacking in many areas, when it comes to moving the ball and getting it into the end zone. We…

The Pittsburgh Steelers made the unsurprising move this offseason to release veteran center Mason Cole after his third NFL season. While the move cleared extra $4.75 million in cap space in a step toward their newly reimagined offensive line, it did leave a massive, gaping hole on the depth chart. Currently, the Steelers do not have a true center under contract at all, let alone a viable starting option. The free agent market has dried up entirely — a good one, in which several experienced centers were available, including Lloyd Cushenberry, Mitch Morse, Aaron Brewer and Tyler Biadasz, among others. All of that is to…
LSU wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. is flying up draft boards. In his latest big board, ESPN’s Mel Kiper Jr. rates him as the 11th-best prospect in this draft class. Thomas Jr. proved he’s worthy of a first-round selection at the scouting combine, showcasing elite speed. The 6-foot-3, 209-pounder tied for the third-fastest 40-yard dash (4.33 seconds). With that in mind, here are three teams that would be an ideal fit for the talented wideout. The Cowboys already have a No. 1 WR in Pro Bowler CeeDee Lamb, who led the league in receptions (135 in 17 games) last…
Derrick Henry is bound for Baltimore, just as the two-time rushing champion expected this offseason. However, Henry admits that it could’ve been an ideal situation for him to stay home — not in Tennessee, but rather in Dallas. Henry resides in Dallas, but the Cowboys never came calling, which set him up to join the Ravens on a two-year deal worth up to $20 million. “I knew once free agency started that I wanted to work something out [with the Ravens] if we could,” Henry said recently on The Pivot podcast. “Even though I’m living in Dallas and Dallas being a perfect situation, as well,…
Thanks to a trade with the Carolina Panthers in last year’s event, the Chicago Bears have the distinct luxury of having the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. That means that unless something severely drastic happens, they’ll be taking USC quarterback Caleb Williams with the first pick. However, that doesn’t mean there isn’t a chance for them to have some sleeper picks, including in the first round as they also have the No. 9 overall pick as well… Not many teams have ever been in a spot in the draft quite like the Bears are, having two top 10 picks, especially with the…
