Now, GM Ryan Poles has done an outstanding job of improving the offense by adding the likes of RB D’Andre Swift, TE Gerald Everett, and WR Keenan Allen.
Nonetheless, former NFL QB Robert Griffin III believes Caleb Williams should refuse to play for them.
Talking on his podcast, he stated that Williams should demand the Bears to extend HC Matt Eberflus if they want stability.
“What they don’t have right now is stability in the front office,” Griffin said.
Williams is too talented for them to mess things up again, but not even the best players can overcome a poorly run team.

He thinks every coach needs three or four years to build and grow their team, and Eberflus won’t be the exception to that rule.
So, with the Bears’ long history of failing to develop their quarterbacks, Williams should look for them to make a commitment to the head coach for the long run.
Truth be told, Williams should be in no position to make that kind of demand, regardless of how talented he is.
Then again, RGIII does have a valid point.
The Bears have failed to build a steady and consistent project around any of their quarterbacks, and that kind of instability could end up hurting a player in the long run.
