In 2018, she had pretty much decided to quit the sport due to her 11th place finish at the national all around. Chiles decided that this was the end of the road for her. That’s when Simone Biles stepped in. She asked her to come to Texas to train in the World Champions centre in Texas, her gym. She would also get the opportunity to train under Cecile Landi and Laurent Landi. This was such an enticing offer that there was no way she was going to refuse. Chiles agrees that this was one of the best decisions in her life. She ended up enjoying gymnastics again and stayed put in the sport.
