Even with her hectic schedule, Simone Biles has made time to be a supportive spouse for her husband Jonathan Owens, celebrating his strong start to the season with the Chicago Bears. The Bears welcomed the Tennessee Titans to Soldier Field, securing a 24-17 win after an intense game.
Biles, the U.S. gymnastics superstar, was there to support her husband, Owens, during his first game in Chicago after playing with the Green Bay Packers last year. Her presence was rewarded when Owens scored a touchdown in the third quarter off a blocked punt. This pivotal touchdown sparked the Bears’ rally. Following the extra point, they narrowed the Titans’ lead to 17-10.
The Bears then unleashed a powerful surge in the fourth quarter, outscoring the Titans 14-0, culminating in a significant victory on opening day. Hours following the game’s conclusion, Biles posted a photo gallery on social media with the caption titled: “In case you missed it.”
Some of the pictures feature Biles with her husband Owens, showing the huge level of commitment and love the couple shares for one another. At 27, Biles is in the final stages of preparing for the Gold Over America Tour, an event likened to a pop concert that will highlight her Olympic journey and feature performances by other American gymnasts.
Biles may not attend all of Owens’ games this season, yet the 11-time Olympic medalist’s support remains unequivocal. Owens and the Bears will move forward to Week 2, looking to improve to 2-0 when they face the Houston Texans on Sept. 15 at 9:20 p.m. ET.
